We have the utmost respect for our service men and women. Sadly, there are times when our heroes pass away with no surviving friends or relatives. We aim to bring the community together to celebrate this life. More often than you would think, service men and women that have passed away have had no one attend their final journey. This can be due to lack of notification, loss of contact with friends and relatives or simply because they have survived past the lives of those they were close to. As I am sure you will agree it is hardly fair for a person that has committed themselves to our safety, to have a silent funeral.
We’re asking the community to get involved and offer themselves forward to unite and mourn for our heroes. If you would like to be notified when a funeral is to take place for a fallen hero that has no relatives or friends attending their final journey, please get in touch. We will take your names, email addresses and contact numbers to notify you when and as these occurrences take place. This will give you the opportunity with plenty of time in advance, to turn up and show your respects.
