Direct Cremation

Here at Ashby Funeral Care we are pleased to offer direct cremations from £1500 including dispersements.

A direct cremation is a non attended funeral.

There is no service in the traditional sense and no mourners are to attend.

Once the cremation has taken place, the family will be informed and given the opportunity to collect their loved ones cremated remains.

The Doctor who attended the deceased will produce a Medical Certificate whick must be presented to the Registrar within 5 working days.

The Coroners Office may be involved if the death occurred at home and the deceased had not seen their Doctor for two weeks.

Probate is the process that appoints someone to deal with the estate of the deceased.
